Excellent Attendance At NCC HostingCon Presentation
August 2009 - NCC made a presentation regarding web host mergers and acquisitions at HostingCon. HostingCon is an international web hosting industry event with participants from over 20 countries.
Tom Millitzer's presentation "Dissecting A Web Host Acquisition" focused on the rational and motivations for both the buyer and seller. According to Millitzer, "I wanted to go behind the numbers and into the psyche of the transaction". Part of the presentation was outlining the hidden meaning within those numbers, or "What the numbers are saying, but no one is seeing. For example in one of his examples it was completely overlooked that the owner was taking another $260,000 a year out of the company."
NCC prides itself in providing excellent information regarding the firms it represents. This saves potential buyers enormous amounts of time and according to NCC results in higher sales prices for its clients.
